Local area walk

This afternoon we went for a short walk around our local area. We tried to find some different types of house. Have a look at the pictures below and see if you can remember what they are called. 

Worm Poetry

This morning we had a good look inside a bucket of worms! We thought of some fantastic words to describe them before we listened to some poems. We worked in groups to discuss what we enjoyed about each one.

Aerial Maps

Today we have been very busy creating maps of our classroom.  We started by looking at the different features of our classroom and then drew around shapes to show the objects we could see.  We imagined we were a spider looking down from the ceiling to do this! Tomorrow we will use our maps to mark where Naughty Bus has been in our classroom!
